Paper 16 - ELT 2 Roll No- 10 Enrollment no.- 2069108420200001 Batch – MA 2019-21 Submitted to - Smt S. B. Gardi Department of English Welcome Readers! This is Kavisha Alagiya and she is googleable….! How surprising it seems when a student, studying in a remote area of Gujarat, with the help of the internet and a techno-savvy teacher learns to establish a digital identity and leaves footprints over social media applications that google and other search engines keep data of educational videos, blogs and images! Well, this demands a sort of some really tough work behind it with a pinch of dedication and sincerity. Here’s an amazing quote by Will Richardson: “How can you make sure that every student who walks on graduation day is WELL GOOGLED by his or her full name?” - Will Richardson This rhetorical question will be elaborated on in this blog post. Firstly. let's have a brief idea of what is a digital portfolio? An electronic portfolio (also known as a digital portfolio, online portfolio, e-portfolio, e-folio, or eFolio) is a collection of electronic evidence assembled and managed by a user, usually on the Web. Such electronic evidence may include input text, electronic files, images, multimedia, blog entries, and hyperlinks. E-portfolios are both demonstrations of the user's abilities and platforms for self-expression. If they are online, users can maintain them dynamically over time. (contributors) In education, the electronic portfolio is a collection of students' work that can advance learning by providing a way for them to organize, archive, and display work. The electronic format allows an instructor to evaluate student portfolios as an alternative to paper-based portfolios because they provide the opportunity to review, communicate, and give feedback in an asynchronous manner. In addition, students are able to reflect on their work, which makes the experience of creating the e-portfolio meaningful. A student e-portfolio may be shared with a prospective employer or used to record the achievement of program or course-specific learning outcomes. (Lorenzo) My Learning experience - As student portfolios are prevalent in my education course, I feel fortunate enough for receiving an opportunity to sort and arrange all my works on various platforms and applications at one platform. My portfolio exhibits my official particular representation particular learning experience or skill achievement. I finally got one platform where by sharing just one link, people can able to view my work at a single platform. Have a look at my bulky documentation of the educational programme that I am pursuing as well as my skills, abilities and learning by clicking here. 👈 References- Lorenzo, George; Ittelson, John (2005).
