About Me

Kavisha Alagiya: I am a Research Scholar in English Literature and Digital Narratives, currently pursuing my PhD under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Dilip Barad, at Department of English, Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University. I hold an M.A. in English with distinction and was awarded a Gold Medal. I have qualified both the UGC-NET (2023) and the Gujarat SET (2022) in English. My academic interests are centered on digital humanities and hypertext fiction, which inform both my research trajectory and pedagogical practice. I began my teaching career as a Lecturer at Sahajanand College of Commerce and Management, where I taught courses in communication and literature. I have also taught postgraduate students as a visiting faculty member at Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University. My university-recognized teaching profile commenced at G. L. Kakadia College of Commerce and Management, where I taught Business Communication to B.Com and BBA students. Subsequently, I joined Matushree Ratanben Ramjibhai Monapara Arts College as an Assistant Professor of English, engaging undergraduate students in language and literature through lectures, assessments, and sustained academic mentoring.
