Watch my presentation here-
‘Party’ as a Motif in selected Modernist Texts by Kavisha Alagiya on Scribd
The presentation aims to explore the selected
modernist texts through the literary device of a motif with an analytical
method. The selected modernist texts are Virginia Woolf's 'To the Lighthouse'
and Harold Pinter's 'The Birthday Party'. The working area – ‘motif’
and its meaning is discussed to justify the selected scenes of selected
modernist texts within the dimension of the recurrent use of the ‘party’.
Thank you.
